The Role
As a Rural Generalist Registered Nurse, you will:
•Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care across a variety of clinical settings
•Work across emergency, acute, medical-surgical, and general ward environments
•Assess, triage, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of clinical conditions
•Respond effectively to emergency situations and support resuscitation efforts
•Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive patient outcomes
•Support patient education, health promotion, and discharge planning
•Contribute to the delivery of healthcare services in rural and regional communities where your skills are highly valued

Requirements

What You'll Bring
We're seeking adaptable, confident nurses who enjoy working across diverse clinical environments and thrive in rural healthcare settings.
Essential Skills & Experience
• Recent experience as a Registered Nurse in rural, regional, or remote healthcare settings
• Strong emergency nursing skills, including:
o Triage
o Resuscitation
o Cannulation
• Broad clinical experience across acute care, medical-surgical, and general ward settings
• Ability to work independently and adapt to varying clinical environments
• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
• Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification (highly regarded)
• Excellent communication, assessment, and clinical decision-making skills
Qualifications
• Bachelor of Nursing
• Minimum 2 years post-graduate clinical experience within Australia
