About the role
As an Emergency Department Registered Nurse, you will deliver safe, high-quality emergency care in rural and remote healthcare settings. You'll work across a broad scope of practice, often as part of a small close-knit multidisciplinary team, responding to a diverse range of presentations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities
· Deliver safe, evidence-based emergency nursing care across a wide range of presentations medical emergencies, trauma and critical incidents
· Perform rapid patient assessments, triage, and clinical interventions
· Administer medications and treatments in line with protocols
· Collaborate with medical officers, retrieval teams and allied health staff
· Maintain accurate clinical documentation and handovers

Requirements

· Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
· Minimum 2 years’ recent Emergency Department experience
· Triage experience & certificate
· ALS Certificate
· Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
· Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
· Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
