About the role
As a Registered Midwife, you will provide comprehensive maternity care across the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal continuum. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, often in settings that require a high level of clinical autonomy and sound judgement.
Key responsibilities
•Provide comprehensive midwifery care across the maternity journey
•Support women and families through pregnancy, birth and postnatal care
•Conduct clinical assessments and manage labour and birth
•Collaborate with obstetric, neonatal and multidisciplinary teams
•Maintain accurate clinical documentation
•Promote culturally safe and woman-centred care
Essential criteria
•Current AHPRA registration as a Midwife
•Recent experience across antenatal, birthing and postnatal care
•Neonatal resuscitation (or willingness to obtain)
•Ability to work autonomously in rural settings
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
